Maintenance works<\/a> by KPTCL<\/a> and Bescom<\/a> are scheduled over the next few days, causing power supply<\/a> interruptions in several areas of Bengaluru<\/a> from today until June 12. Here are the timings where power supply could be disrupted during the electricity maintenance works, according to a TOI report.June 8 (10 am to 4 pm):
Power will be disrupted in Queens Road, Thimmaiah Road, Miller\u2019s Road, Cunningham Road, Ali Askar Road, Chandini Chowk, Miller Tank Bund Road, Bamboo Bazaar Road, Broadway Road, Cockburn Road, Seppings Road, Bowring Hospital, Infantry Road, VV Towers, MS Building, CID, MEG Centre, Raj Bhavan, Vasanthnagar, Vidhana Soudha, and Vikasa Soudha.June 11 (10 am to 3 pm):
The affected areas include Adugodi, Salarpuria Tower, Chikka Adugodi, Nanjappa Layout, Chikka Lakshmaiah Layout, Wilson Garden, Lakkasandra, and Laljinagar.<\/p>\n

The meteorological department has forecast expect heavy to very heavy rainfall over Maharashtra and coastal and north interior Karnataka over the next five days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in isolated locations over Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala & Mahe.
Heavy rainfall in isolated spots in Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Konkan & Goa, Tripura, Vidarbha, and Telangana.
Conditions are favorable for the Southwest Monsoon to advance into more regions, including parts of the central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Telangana, remaining Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of South Chhattisgarh & South Odisha, and more areas of the Northwest Bay of Bengal over the next 3-4 days, IMD said. <\/p>\n
