The Polish star clinched her third successive title at Roland-Garros and the fifth Grand Slam title of her career to script history at Philippe-Chatrier in Paris.  <!-- \/8323530\/ITv_Desktop_VDO_1X1 -->\n  <\/p>\n<p>The World no.1 Swiatek did easy work over the Italian opponent to register a 6-2, 6-1 win to claim her fourth French Open title. She became the youngest tennis player to win five Grand Slam titles and equalled legendary Maria Sharapova and Martina Hingis&#8217; majors tally at the age of just 23.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paolini, 28, had no answer to Swiatek&#8217;s established superiority on clay in her first-ever Grand Slam final. The Italian star is\u00a0also competing in the women&#8217;s doubles and partners Sara Errani in the final against the world no.5 pair of Coco Gauff and\u00a0Katerina Siniakova\u00a0tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s playing unbelievable here,\u201d Paolini said of Swiatek after the loss.\u00a0\u201cShe\u2019s taking the balls early, taking time [from] you, but also using rotation. She can defend really, really well. On clay, she\u2019s unbelievable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never played a player that has this intensity before in my life,\u201d she added. \u201cI think I played, like, four games at that intensity. Then [it] was tough. But I was trying to hit as hard as I could.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p>Swiatek also became the first woman to win three consecutive Grand Slam titles in the last ten years. The legendary Serena Williams last won three successive\u00a0US Open titles in 2012-2014 and the former world no.1\u00a0Justine Henin last recorded a hat-trick at French Open in 2005-07.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the Men&#8217;s Singles, Carlos Alcaraz will be facing last year&#8217;s runner-up Casper Ruud in the final at the Philippe Chatrier on Sunday.
