For Bangladesh, Towhid Hridoy top-scored with 37 off 34 while Mahmudullah scored 20 off 27 and almost got Bangladesh over the line, attempting a big shot with 6 needed off 2 balls. However, the shot was caught inside the boundary ropes with Aiden Markram taking a good catch under pressure and eventually helping South Africa register a win.
