All about Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani<\/h2>\n<\/div>\nChandra Sekhar Pemmasani, a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has been named the new Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications in the Modi 3.0 cabinet. Pemmasani, the wealthiest candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, won from Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur constituency. His election affidavit declared assets of Rs 5,705 crore, the highest among the 8,360 candidates in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.<\/caption>\n<\/section>\n

Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani\u2019s political journey<\/h2>\n<\/div>\nPemmasani, 48, secured his seat in the Guntur constituency by defeating the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) candidate Kilari Venkata Rosaiah with a margin of 3,44,695 votes. Despite his success in 2024, this was not his first attempt to enter the political arena. In 2014 and 2019, he aimed for the Narasaraopet Lok Sabha ticket from the TDP but stepped aside when the ticket went to Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, a former Congress leader.
