The order came after a <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/public-interest-litigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">public-interest litigation<\/a> was filed before the court, TOI reported. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Social media platforms, namely X (formerly Twitter), Meta (formerly Facebook), <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/instagram\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> and <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/youtube\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> are hereby directed to remove forthwith the audio\/video recording from their respective platforms,&#8221; the bench ordered. <\/p>\n<p>The court also directed the platforms to see to it that the videos and audios are not reuploaded<\/p>\n<div class=\"orn_free_r pos_a font_mon\">\n<div data-grx-impression=\"Article Recommendations - Edit RHS#articleshow_inline_impression#news\/india\/delhi-hc-orders-removal-of-video-of-kejriwals-court-statement-from-social-media-platforms | \" class=\"arwd_ld_chk orn_r_lhs hide\">\n<div class=\"orn_r_wrp\">\n<p><span>RECOMMENDED<\/span><span>STORIES FOR YOU<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/article_recommendations_wd.cms?msid=111033146&wd_type=outer&art_seo=news\/india\/delhi-hc-orders-removal-of-video-of-kejriwals-court-statement-from-social-media-platformspotime:2-->The court said that the videos and audios breached rule 3 (vi) of the Delhi High Court Video Conferencing Rules, 2021. This meant that the videos could not remain in the public domain. <\/p>\n<p>Next hearing of the case has been scheduled for July 9. <\/p>\n<p>The PIL filed by lawyer Vaibhav Singh has alleged that several members of the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/aam-aadmi-party\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aam Aadmi Party<\/a> (<a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/aap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AAP<\/a>) had deliberately recorded clips from the March 28 hearing where Kejriwal gave his statement to the court for ten minutes. Singh accused the party members of maligning and manipulating court proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Singh had filed a complaint with X, Meta, YouTube, and Instagram, providing them with the URLs of posts required to be taken down. YouTube responded saying the video did not breach community guidelines, while other platforms did not respond.<\/p>\n<p>Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in connection to the Delhi liquor policy case.
