As per the IMD, an <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/orange-alert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">orange alert<\/a> has been issued for three northern districts\u2014Malappuram, <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/kozhikode\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kozhikode<\/a>, and Kannur\u2014for June 21, with a <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/yellow-alert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">yellow alert<\/a> issued for six other districts.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=toppotime:2-->For June 22, it issued an orange alert in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod and yellow alert in eight other districts of the state.
