In a significant development concerning the alleged NEET paper leak<\/a>, Anurag Yadav, a 22-year-old candidate from Bihar, has confessed to obtaining leaked exam papers through his uncle, a junior engineer. Anurag Yadav, a student of Allen Institute Kota, admitted to receiving the leaked question papers and answer sheets from his uncle. He stated that his uncle arranged the papers and called him back to Bihar, where he was handed the materials on the night of June 4. Yadav confirmed that the questions provided matched those in the actual exam held at DY Patil School.<\/p>\n

“I returned from Kota and was taken to Amit Anand and Nitish Kumar by my uncle on the night of May 4, where I was given the NEET exam<\/a> question paper and answer sheet, which I was made to study and memorise overnight,” Yadav stated.<\/p>\n

Uncle Assured that NEET is Sorted<\/h2>\n

Amidst the ongoing NEET controversy, Anurag Yadav revealed to the police that his uncle, Sikandar Yadavendu, also arrested, assured him the exam was “sorted” and asked him to return to Samastipur. He received the questions and answers the night before the exam, which were found to be accurate during the test.<\/p>\n

Anurag’s scorecard from the National Testing Agency<\/a> (NTA) shows he scored 185 out of 720, with a percentile score of 54.84. A detailed look at his scores reveals a mismatch, with 85.8 percentile in Physics, 51 percentile in Biology, but only 5 percentile in Chemistry, suggesting insufficient time to memorize the chemistry answers.<\/p>\n

Rs 30 Lakh Paid for NEET Paper<\/h2>\n

Sikandar Yadavendu admitted to the police that he connected four students with Amit Anand and Nitish Kumar, who charged Rs 30-32 lakh per student for the question papers. Yadavendu inflated the price to Rs 40 lakh per student out of greed.<\/p>\n

While Anurag has been arrested, the other three students, also from the OBC category, have been questioned. One scored 300 out of 720, with a percentile of 73.37. However, individual scores again raised suspicions: 87.8 percentile in Biology, but only 15.5 and 15.3 percentiles in Physics and Chemistry respectively.<\/p>\n

NTA Denies Any Paper Leak<\/h2>\n

Despite the National Testing Agency denying any paper leak, the confessions from Anurag Yadav and others bring serious concerns about the integrity of the examination process. These revelations highlight the need for stricter measures to prevent such breaches in the future.
