The NIA had earlier chargesheeted 24 accused in the case involving an attack at <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/tetariyakhand-coal-mine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tetariyakhand coal mine<\/a> in Jharkhand&#8217;s Latehar district by members of the Sujit Sinha, Aman Sahu and other gangs. <\/p>\n<p>The attack was carried out in December 2020, as part of a criminal conspiracy hatched by these gangs to extort money and disrupt government work. <\/p>\n<p>The NIA, which took over the investigation in March 2021, had in February this year arrested one Shankar Yadav, a key aide of Aman Sahu, following seizure of Rs 1.3 crore from him during the searches at five locations in Bihar.<br \/><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=105115637&pos=botpotime:2--><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/india\/jharkhand-nia-conducts-raids-at-three-places-in-coal-mine-extortion-case\/articleshow\/111147695.cms\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted extensive searches at three locations in Hazaribagh and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand connected with associates of the notorious Aman Sahu gang in Jharkhand, in a case relating to extortion and attack on a coal mine.
