Hindenburg said the company failed to address the issues raised in its report. <br \/>The shortseller also said Sebi \u201cseems more interested in pursuing those who expose such practices\u201d while its investigation into the conglomerate has hit a wall. <br \/>\u201cSebi has neglected its responsibility, seemingly doing more to protect those perpetrating fraud than to protect the investors being victimized by it,\u201d Hindenburg said in the statement.<br \/>Sebi didn\u2019t immediately respond to Bloomberg\u2019s request for comment. An Adani Group representative did not offer any immediate comment.<br \/>In the wake of Hindenburg\u2019s Adani report, India\u2019s Supreme Court ordered Sebi to probe allegations while setting up an expert panel to look into regulatory lapses.
