Lewis Hamilton Wins Bristish GP: <\/strong>Lewis Hamilton won an F1 race for the first time since 2021. The Briton got the better of Max Verstappen to claim his first Formula 1 win since Saudi Arabia 2021. It was no surprise that the Mercedes racer’s drought-ending win came at Silverstone where he now has a record-shattering nine wins. He was previously tied with Michael Schumacher for most wins at one track with eight wins but now holds a record nine victories at this circuit.<\/p>\n

Red Bull Racing’s Verstappen may have been denied the first position but took a place at the podium, finishing second. Meanwhile, McLaren’s Lando Norris came third. The win was Hamilton’s record-breaking 104th Formula One win. It was an emotional moment for him as and he could be seen weeping into the arms of his father amid a huge roar from the home crowd.<\/p>\n

Max Verstappen Continued To Lead 2024 Driver Standings<\/span><\/h3>\n

Despite coming second in this race, Red Bull’s Verstappen continues to lead the 2024 Driver Standings with 255 points. McLaren’s Norris, who came third, is second in the driver standings with Hamilton trailing at the eighth position. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who finished 14th at the Silverstone Circuit, is number 3 on the list of the Drivers Standings with 150 points.<\/p>\n
