Razzaq had roles on both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s selection committees, while Riaz served as a selector for the men&#8217;s team. This decision followed Pakistan&#8217;s early exit from the ICC Men&#8217;s T20 World Cup 2024, where they were eliminated in the Group Stage after defeats to the USA and India.<br \/>Riaz took to social media platform X to express his feelings about his removal and his dedication to Pakistan cricket.<br \/>&#8220;There is a lot I can say but I don&#8217;t want to be part of the blame games,&#8221; Riaz wrote.<br \/>He also emphasized his commitment and service to <!-- -->Pakistan cricket<!-- --> during his tenure.<br \/>&#8220;My time serving as a member of the selection committee for PCB comes to an end.
