Uber to Pay $178 Million to Settle Lawsuit From Australian Taxi Drivers

Uber has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit in Australia that claimed the ride-sharing company destroyed the livelihoods of taxi and hire-car drivers, the law firm representing the drivers said.
