Mumbai: Axis Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 7,130 crore for the quarter ended in March 2024, as compared to a loss of Rs 5,728 crore in the year-ago period. For the full financial year, the bank has reported a net profit of Rs 24,861 crore – a 160% increase over last year. The figures for the two years are not comparable because of exceptional items related to the acquisition of Citibank‘s business in March 2023.
