Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a scathing attack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his statement, ‘PM Modi should read our manifesto first and then we can discuss it’. Attacking him, he said, ‘Why should there be any meeting between Kharge and the BJP at this time? If he wants to join the party, then he can come, and I will go to his home and escort him.’
