On Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, Mohan Charan Majhi, a four-time MLA, will be sworn in as Odisha’s first Chief Minister from the BJP. Two deputy chief ministers—Pravati Parida, a first-time MLA, and Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, a six-term legislator—will join him at the swearing-in ceremony. The inauguration will take place at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
