IND vs AUS Live Score, T20 World Cup 2024: India are all set to face Australia in their final Super Eights fixture in St Lucia on Monday (June 24). While India are all but through to the semifinals after winning each of their first two matches in the Super 8 round, this is more of a must-win game for the Aussies after their shock defeat to Afghanistan earlier in the group stage, although they will still be in contention for semis if they lost but just about.
Rain is also likely to play a part in this match. In case of a complete washout, it will not make much of a difference to Team India as they will be official through to final four. However, the fate of Australia will no longer remain in their hand and they will have to depend on the result of the Bangladesh- Afghanistan Super 8 match to know whether or not they make it to the semis.
All set for the match 😎

In case of an Afghanistan win, they will be through to the final four with Australia missing out but a Bangladesh win would help the Aussies go through but it will come down to that only if the IND vs AUS match gets washed out. Fans, however, will be hoping to catch some cricket action with two of the finest white-ball teams set to go head-to-head in this match although more pressure will be the Kangaroos.
Australia captain Mitchell Marsh hasn’t been in the best of forms in this edition of the T20 World Cup and will be eager to perform with his team with their backs against the wall. For India, it has been a curious case of Arshdeep Singh who has picked most wickets for them alright but has also been of the most expensive bowlers.
India do not seem in a mood to make changes to their Playing 11 and so it is likely to be the same combination in this team. Australia may be tempted to bring in Mitchell Starc but we will get to know more on what the captains think and the how the game will proceed in a few hours.
