Jaipur man sparks outrage by assigning ‘rates’ to foreign women tourists, netizens call for police action
In a shocking incident, a young man in Jaipur, known by his Instagram username @guru__brand0000, harassed women tourists for Instagram reels, causing widespread outrage. The man, identified as Guru, posted several videos that were extremely offensive towards women tourists.

In one video, Guru approached four unsuspecting women tourists and shamelessly assigned “rates” to them. “Guys, you will get these women for Rs 150,” he said. Pointing at individual women, he continued, “She is available for Rs 150, she is for Rs 200, you can get her for Rs 500 and this one is for Rs 300.” The women, unaware of what Guru was saying, continued to wave at the camera.

In another video, Guru harassed a tourist couple by falsely claiming the woman was his wife and the man his brother-in-law. “Guys, she is my wife,” he said, walking next to the woman. Moving towards the man, Guru said, “He is my brother-in-law. How do you guys like him? My brother-in-law.”

Guru’s Instagram profile reveals he has been harassing tourists in Jaipur for a while, often thrusting his camera at them and recording himself with them. He also posted reels performing bike stunts.

Public Reaction

The incident was brought to light by an X user who shared the problematic videos, saying, “Guys like these are the reason why international tourists have bad experience in India. @jaipur_police should arrest this guy for harassing tourists and teach him basic civic sense and the meaning of Atithi Devo Bhava.”Social media users on X tagged Jaipur Police under Guru’s videos, demanding action against him. Many users expressed that such behavior tarnishes Jaipur’s reputation. One user stated, “This kind of behavior spoils the name of our city.”Responding to the public outcry, Jaipur Police tweeted, “Sir, the higher authorities have been informed for the appropriate legal action in the aforementioned matter.”
