In a tragic incident, multiple coaches of 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express went off the tracks on July 18. The accident occurred near Jhilahi Railway Station close to Gonda district of UP. As per Gonda DM, two people died and around 20 were injured in the incident.A passenger travelling in the Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express claims, “I had to go to Hajipur… There was a mild explosion (before the incident) and after that a strong jolt was felt and our coach derailed. We were coming from Chandigarh…”
