On Monday, July 22nd, 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey of India to the Houses of Parliament. This report, prepared by the Economic Division of the Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance and overseen by the chief economic adviser, provides an overview of the economy and various indicators for the year 2023-24 (April-March), as well as some insights into the current year.
