Paris Olympics 2024, Day 11 LIVE Updates: Welcome to ABP Live’s live coverage of India’s action on day 11 of the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. All eyes will be on the national treasure Neeraj Chopra as he begins India’s campaign in Javelin. Indian fans will be wager to see Chopra competing in the men’s javelin throw qualification on Day 11 of the Paris Games. Meanwhile, the Indian hockey team will aim to surpass their Tokyo bronze medal performance by facing reigning world champions Germany in the semifinal.

On August 5 at the Paris Olympics, India experienced another day without medals. Lakshya Sen lost in the badminton bronze medal match and the mixed team in shooting skeet narrowly missed out on a medal against China. However, Avinash Sable advanced to the men’s 3000m steeplechase final and the women’s table tennis team reached the quarterfinals.

Badminton

– Lakshya Sen loses to Lee Zii Jia 21-13, 16-21, 11-21, missing out on the men’s singles bronze.

Table Tennis

– India defeats Romania 3-2 in the women’s team round of 16, advancing to the quarterfinals.

Athletics 

– Kiran Pahal finishes 7th in the women’s 400m round 1, heat 5, and moves to the repechage round.  
– Avinash Sable finishes 5th in the men’s 3000m steeplechase round 1, heat 2, advancing to the final.

Shooting

– Maheshwari Singh and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka finish fourth in the mixed team skeet shooting qualification, advancing to the bronze medal match.  
– They narrowly lose to China’s Yiting Jiang and Jianlin Lyu, 43-44, missing out on the bronze medal.

Wrestling

– Nisha Dahiya defeats Ukraine’s Tetiana Sova Rizhko 6-4, advancing to the women’s 68kg quarterfinal.  
– She later loses to North Korea’s Pak Sol Gum 10-4 in the quarterfinal.

Sailing

– Vishnu Saravanan finishes 18th overall in the men’s dinghy with a net score of 114 after 8 races.  
– Nethra Kumanan finishes 21st overall in the women’s dinghy with a net score of 155 after 9 races.
