However, both the medals carried a contrasting emotion, as the Men’s Hockey Team was joyous to receive their bronze medal, which also marked PR Sreejesh’s last-ever international medal, as he is retiring now with immediate effect.

However, same cannot be said for Neeraj Chopra, as he was India’s biggest hope for Gold medal at Paris Olympics 2024, but ended up bagging silver medal, with Arshad Nadeem breaking the all-time Olympics record to secure the Gold medal for Pakistan.
