West Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose on Thursday said that the vandalism in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Kolkata is a shame to civil society. Bose visited the hospital on Thursday afternoon to assess the situation after a female second-year postgraduate trainee doctor was found dead on August 9 morning within the college premises. “Yesterday’s vandalism is a disgrace to civil society and humanity as a whole. It’s unacceptable that young girls are not being protected. This bloodshed must come to an end,” told the governor to PTI reporters at the hospital.
