Sealdah court in Kolkata on Friday remanded prime accused Sanjay Roy to 14 days judicial custody in the doctor’s rape and murder case, which has left the entire nation shook.
Roy was arrested on August 10 by the CBI and his custody ended today.
On August 9, the body of a post-graduate trainee was discovered in the seminar room of a hospital. Subsequently, the civic volunteer was arrested the following day in connection with the incident.
