In Gujarat, heavy rainfall has caused 26 deaths and the evacuation of 17,800 people. The flooding has disrupted traffic and trains, with Vadodara being severely affected. The Indian Air Force has deployed relief operations, including transport aircraft delivering relief materials and helicopters air-dropping essentials to stranded locals in Jamnagar and Vadodara. Over three days, the IAF conducted round-the-clock operations, airlifting 18 people and air-dropping over 3500 essential supply packs.
