Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the contribution of the FinTech sector in making lives of the people easy via products like Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and UPI.
Speaking at the Global FinTech Festival in Mumbai on Friday, the PM said that India is launching products which are local but their application is global.
He reiterated that India’s FinTech system will help increase the ease of living of the whole world.
Modi also highlighted India’s commendable growth shown in the fintech sector over the past decade.
“In the last 10 yrs, the FinTech industry has seen investments worth more than $31 billion and 500 per cent growth,” he said.
