Suryakumar was initially slated to represent India C against India D in their first-round match at Anantapur, scheduled from September 5-8. However, he has now reportedly reported to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
Suryakumar featured in Mumbai’s final match of the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament in Coimbatore against TNCA XI.
The senior batter was sidelined on the last day due to an injury, preventing him from batting in the contest.
