New Delhi: On Palestine solidarity convention, Palestinian Ambassador to India, Adnan Abu Al Haija said that this is not the first time India is holding such convention for the cause of Palestine. He further said that India is a friend of both Israel and Palestine. Finally, he invited India to play the role of mediator. Palestinian Ambassador to India Adnan Abu Al-Haija said, “We are always looking for a friend like India to play a mediator role. I know that India is a peaceful country so we are calling them to play that role. They (India) are a friend of both (countries). To make ceasefire, to call for an international conference, to lead to the independence of the state of Palestine and the land of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
