The Supreme Court will hear a suo moto case on Monday regarding the rape and murder of a junior doctor at Kolkata’s R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. The hearing will be led by Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud. The West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front will decide to continue their protest after the outcome of the hearing, following an attack on doctors and nurses at Sagore Dutta Hospital.
