Multiple engineering colleges in Bengaluru, including Bengaluru Institute of Technology, BMS College of Engineering and MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology received bomb threats on Friday.
Bengaluru South DCP said that bomb disposal squad and related squads were on the job to verify. A case has been registered in Hanumanthnagar Police Station to trace the source.
The Taj West End hotel in the city had received bomb threats in the previous week.
Earlier today, several schools in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, received bomb threats on Friday through email for the second day in a row.
