The Election Commission of India is set to announce the Jharkhand and Maharashtra election schedules on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., following the conclusion of polls in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. The term for the Maharashtra assembly ends on November 26, while the Jharkhand assembly will complete its term on January 5, 2025. In the 2019 elections, Jharkhand conducted polling in five phases, whereas Maharashtra had just one phase.
