The FBI has issued a wanted poster for Vikash Yadav, a former Indian government employee, accused in foiled plot to assassinate pro-Khalistan separatist and US citizen Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. US prosecutors have charged Yadav with conspiracy, murder-for-hire and money laundering. Yadav allegedly conspired with Nikhil Gupta to orchestrate the plot targeting Pannun in New York. US Attorney General Merrick Garland has pledged to hold accountable anyone threatening the safety of US citizens.
