Rachin Ravindra has slammed a hundred on his return to to Bengaluru in New Zealands’s first Test against India at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. On Day 3 of the series opener, India scalped four wickets and seemed to be crawling their way back into the match after being bowled out for 46 in the first innings. However, Ravindra counterattacked and remains unbeaten on 104 off 125 balls with Tim Southee even being not out on 49 off 50.
The two of them have already added 112 runs off 97 balls for the eighth wicket to take New Zealand’s score to 345/7, taking their lead to 299 runs at Lunch on Day 3. The Ravindra-Southee stand happens to be the the second-fastest century partnership in Tests against India.
