India Vs New Zealand, 1st Test: ‘Bad Light’ Leads To Early Stumps On An Eventful Day 4

India Vs New Zealand, 1st Test, Day 4: India end Day 4 on a heated note, as captain Rohit Sharma alongside the Indian players were indulged in a heated argument with on-field umpires, after the latter stopped the play due to ‘bad light’. The incident occured in the 1st over of the 4th innings, as New Zealand were chasing a modest target of 107 against the hosts.

The decision proved to be the right one, as, after a matter of few miniutes, the venue was subject to torrential rain and covers came on, which ultimately led to umpires calling for an early stumps on Saturday.
