The 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) opened its doors today in New Delhi at the Bharat Mandapam Complex. Set to run until November 27, this annual fair provides a platform for small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), non-government organizations, artisans, and self-help groups to showcase their products and services to the public and business community. This year, the theme is “Viksit Bharat @2047,” reflecting a vision for India’s growth and development over the coming decades.

Trade Fair 2024 Dates and Schedule

The IITF 2024, which began today, will initially cater to business visitors from November 14 to November 18. From November 19, the fair will open to the public, allowing families and children to explore the exhibits.

Focus and Partner States

This year, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have been designated as partner states, while Jharkhand is the focus state. The fair highlights diverse cultural elements from India and various participating countries, providing visitors a unique cultural experience and the opportunity to purchase distinctive global products.

Pragati Maidan Trade Fair Ticketing Information

Tickets for IITF 2024 are available both online and offline. Visitors are required to purchase tickets in advance as they are not sold at the venue itself.

Adults: ₹500
Children: ₹200 (November 15-17), ₹150 (November 14 & 18)Trade Fair Ticket Prices for Public Days (November 19-27):
Adults: ₹80 (Weekdays, November 19-22), ₹150 (Weekend/Holiday, November 23-24)
Children: ₹40 (Weekdays, November 25-27), ₹60 (Weekend/Holiday, November 23-24)

Tickets are available through designated metro stations and online platforms, including:

Bharat Mandapam Mobile App
Official ITPO and DMRC websites

Delhi Metro has selected 55 stations across the city for ticket sales to facilitate easy access, including major stations such as Shaheed Sthal, Rajiv Chowk, and Delhi Haat INA. However, the Supreme Court Metro Station, which is closest to Pragati Maidan, will not sell IITF tickets to prevent overcrowding.

ITPO Trade Fair Entry Points

Visitors can access the IITF via the Supreme Court Metro Station and enter Pragati Maidan through Gates 3, 4, 6, and 10. The fair operates daily from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, giving attendees ample time to explore the diverse array of exhibits.

This year’s IITF emphasizes cashless transactions and environmental responsibility through digital ticketing, reducing congestion and streamlining entry for attendees. Golf carts are also available for intra-fair transport and can be reserved through the DMRC app for a smoother visit experience.
