BGT 2024-25: India’s Record In Day-Night Tests Ahead Of IND vs AUS Match In Adelaide

India’s Day-Night Test Record: India and Australia are set to face off in a day-night Test at the Adelaide Oval from Friday, December 6 as the both teams will play the second match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) after the series opener in Perth. Team India secured a commanding 295-run victory at Optus Stadium in the IND vs AUS 1st Test, taking a 1-0 lead in the five-match series, which will decide both teams fate in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle.

With over a 10-day gap between the first Test and the second, both teams are expected to enter the day-night affair with ample match practice. Originally scheduled as a two-day match, rain washed out the first day, and both teams were allotted 46 overs each. India went on to defeat the PM’s XI by 6 wickets.
