Kannauj Railway Station Building Collapse: An under-construction building collapsed Saturday at Uttar Pradaesh’s Kannauj railway station, trapping several workers under the rubble. Till now six workers have been rescued and were rushed to the hospital, police said. “According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when the under-construction shuttering of the roof collapsed,” said District Magistrate (DM) Shubhrant Kumar Shukl, who is currently overseeing the rescue operation along with other senior officials. He further added: “Our first priority is to rescue the workers who are trapped. We are using all resources at our disposal for the rescue efforts.”
