Kevin Pietersen
Former England captain Kevin Pietersen was among the earliest English players to shine in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In 36 IPL matches, he scored 1,001 runs, including one century and four half-centuries. Although retired, Pietersen remains one of the finest English cricketers to have played in the league.
Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler holds the record for the most centuries in Indian Premier League (IPL) by an England player. Between 2016 and 2024, he has scored 3,582 runs in 107 matches, including seven centuries and 19 half-centuries, at a strike rate of 147.53. In Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Buttler will be playing for Gujarat Titans (GT).
Ben Stokes
England’s Test captain, Ben Stokes, has also left his mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Between 2017 and 2023, he scored 935 runs in 45 matches, with two centuries and two half-centuries. Stokes opted out of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction and will not be seen this season.
Jonny Bairstow
A dynamic wicketkeeper-batsman, Jonny Bairstow has been a key player in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Between 2019 and 2024, he scored 1,589 runs in 50 matches, including two centuries and nine half-centuries. However, Bairstow went unsold in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction and will not feature this season.
