Delhi CM Atishi retained her seat from Kalkaji after a close fight with BJP former MP from South Delhi, Ramesh Bidhuri. Atishi won the seat by a margin of 3500 votes. Bidhuri was initially leading by over 3000 votes, but slowly the margin reduced and Atishi resurfaced in the race, emerging as a winner from Kalkaji. Atishi took over the reins of Delhi CM from Arvind Kejriwal in September last year after he was given bail in the liquor policy case.
