Bhubaneswar police arrested 21-year-old Advik Srivastava in connection with the suicide of Prakriti Lamsal, a third-year BTech student from Nepal. Prakriti reportedly ended her life due to a strained relationship with a male student from KIIT. Nepali students protested demanding justice, and the Nepali embassy contacted authorities. KIIT initially asked over 500 Nepali students to leave, causing distress, but later retracted the decision. The Indian Embassy expressed condolences, and local authorities have launched an investigation.
