Exam Date Change for Prayagraj Only
UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh confirmed that the revision applies only to Prayagraj. In all other districts, the exams will be conducted as per the original schedule.
The UP Board exams will begin on February 24 and conclude on March 12, with over 54.37 lakh students appearing. This includes 27.32 lakh Class 10 students and 27.05 lakh Class 12 students.
New Exam Schedule for Prayagraj
Class 10:
Subjects: Elementary Hindi (Morning Shift: 8:30 AM – 11:45 AM), Healthcare (Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM)
New Date: March 9 (Timings remain the same)
Class 12:
Subjects: Military Science (Morning Shift), Hindi/General Hindi (Afternoon Shift)
New Date: March 9 (Shifts remain unchanged)
Special Arrangements for Ayodhya and Varanasi
Authorities in Ayodhya and Varanasi, which are also witnessing heavy crowds due to the Maha Kumbh, have assured the UP Board that students will have designated routes to reach their exam centres on time.
The district magistrates (DMs) of both cities have planned alternative travel routes for students appearing in exams on February 24. They have been instructed to inform students and the public about these routes to avoid confusion.
