An Indian girl’s family was granted US visa 14 days after she went into coma after an accident. 35-year old Neelam Shinde was struck by a speeding vehicle on February 14. The next available date for visa interview was in 2026, which prompted the girl’s father to seek consular help. MP Supriya Sule raised the issue, and the MEA contacted their US counterparts to expedite the process.
