<p>Social media influencer Ayushya Raj recently shared a video on Instagram featuring New Zealand cricketer Rachin Ravindra, calling him ‘truly Indian at heart’.</p>
<p>In the clip, Ayushya pointed out how Rachin was the only player who checked what was inside the gift or package given to the team, while none of his New Zealand teammates did the same. The hilarious video has gone viral on the internet. </p>

<p>Rachin Ravindra, born in Wellington, New Zealand, has roots in Bangalore (now Bengaluru), India, as both his parents are of Indian origin.</p>
<p>Rachin Ravindra (263 runs in four innings) was named Player of the Tournament in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In the CT 2025 Final against India, he dismissed Rohit Sharma with his bowling and grabbed a difficult catch to get rid of in-form Shreyas Iyer. Apart from scoring runs with the bat, he also took 4 wickets in the tournament.</p>
<h3><strong>Rachin Ravindra achieves unique milestone for New Zealand</strong></h3>
<p>After winning the Player of the Tournament award, Rachin Ravindra etched his name in the record books. He became the fourth-youngest player to receive this honor in Champions Trophy history and the first-ever New Zealander to achieve the feat.</p>
<p>Jacques Kallis remains the youngest recipient of the award, having won it at 23 years and 16 days. Pakistan’s Hasan Ali and West Indies’ Ramnaresh Sarwan hold the second and third spots, respectively.</p>
