Bollywood superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan engage in a playful battle of egos in their latest advertisement for Dream11. The advertisement, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, also features renowned cricketers such as Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah, adding to the entertainment factor.
Ranbir Kapoor Vs Aamir Khan in hilarious ad
The video opens with Rishabh Pant requesting Aamir Khan to introduce him to Ranbir Kapoor for a picture. Aamir, in his signature humorous style, responds, “Arey photo kya, pappi hi de dega. Apna hi bacchha hai, aaja (Forget the photo, he’ll give you a kiss instead. He’s one of us, come here),” and leads Pant to Kapoor.
The mood shifts when Aamir mistakenly refers to Ranbir as Ranbir Singh, leading to an awkward moment. He declares, “Tumhari generation ka sabse bada star – Ranbir… Singh (The biggest star of your generation – Ranbir Singh),” which visibly irks Kapoor. Rohit Sharma quickly steps in to correct Aamir, saying, “Singh nahin sir… Kapoor, Kapoor (Not Singh, sir… It’s Kapoor).” Brushing it off with a chuckle, Aamir remarks, “Ek hi baat hai yaar… dono handsome munde hain. Shabaash (It’s the same thing. Both are good-looking guys. Well done)!”
Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Jackie Shroff, Bumrah, Arbaaz Khan join in
Ranbir, however, is not amused and later vents to Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, and Jackie Shroff about Aamir’s slip-up. Meanwhile, Aamir claims he wouldn’t mind if Ranbir accidentally called him Salman, but he draws the line at being mistaken for Arbaaz Khan. The scene takes a hilarious turn with Arbaaz making a surprise entry, joking that Aamir could have taken a jab at Sohail Khan instead.
The ad also pokes fun at Aamir’s famous role in Ghajini, with Rishabh Pant asking him if he often forgets things. Aamir wittily responds that he is in preparation for Ghajini 2.
The video concludes with Aamir and Ranbir taking their friendly feud to the cricket field, forming their respective teams—Aamir Khan 11, featuring Rishabh Pant, and Ranbir Kapoor 11, led by Rohit Sharma.
While Ranbir and Aamir have shared screen space before—albeit briefly in the 2014 blockbuster PK—this marks their first substantial project together.
