CSK Vs MI: Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has failed on his IPL 2025 debut, as the ‘Hitman’ falls for a four-ball duck vs Chennai Super Kings in Match 3 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
Rohit Sharma, who is returning from a triumphant ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign with India, where he won the Player of the Match award in the Final for his 76 vs New Zealand, was expected to fire all cylinders against CSK, but fell prey to Khaleel Ahmed after playing three consecutive dot balls.
The Indian Cricket Team ODI & Test captain was caught at the mid-wicket region by Shivam Dube, who took a regulation catch, as MI are off to a shaky start at ‘Chepauk’.
Rohit Sharma’s IPL 2024 season produced a memorable knock at the venue, as the former MI captain scored a fighting ton, which failed to inspite his side to a win, as rest of the batters failed to complement the Indian legend on the pitch.
With a new-looking side, much was expected from Rohit to produce a crucial knock at ‘Chepauk’, but Khaleel Ahmed stuns the MI bench with magnificent bowling.
Rohit Sharma Continues Dismal IPL Run Vs Khaleel Ahmed
