Rajasthan Royals won the coin toss and elected to bowl first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, as the home side were asked in to bat first. The swashbuckling batter repaid the trust with a memorable knock, as he scored an unbeaten ton to help SRH break a series of records with a total of 286.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals could not manage to pose a threat to SRH’s total, as they were restricted to 242 in their 20 overs. The top-order failed miserably to fire, as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, and Nitish Rana fell cheaply.
Dhruv Jurel and Sanju Samson scored quickfire fifties, but the effort was ‘too little too late’ for Rajasthan Royals, as the lower-order had too much at their disposal to pull off a historic chase.
Shubham Dubey proved his worth to the side, as the 30-year-old remained unbeaten on 34 off 11 balls.
