In a significant administrative shakeup, the Allahabad High Court has announced the transfer of 582 judicial officers to various districts.

This comprehensive list encompasses 236 Additional District and Sessions Judges, alongside 207 Civil Judges in the senior division and 139 in the junior division.

Notably, Kanpur saw the highest number of transfers, with 13 judges reassigned, followed by Aligarh with 11 and Bareilly with 5. Among those transferred is Justice Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who gained attention for his ruling on the Gyanvapi Mosque survey in Varanasi. Previously stationed in Bareilly, he will now serve at the Chitrakoot District Court.

Justice Ravi Kumar Diwakar is recognized for integrating religious texts into his judicial decisions, often referencing the Ramcharitmanas and the Geeta. His notable actions include issuing a non-bailable warrant against Islamic leader Maulana Tauqeer Raza, which brought him into the public eye while serving in Bareilly.

The transfer orders were issued on Sunday evening by Satish Kumar Pushkar, the joint registrar of the Allahabad High Court. Judicial officers have been instructed to report to their new postings immediately.
