After the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, Team India will tour England before returning home for a packed international schedule.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday (March 2) announced that India will play 12 matches at home in the latter half of 2025, featuring a Test series against West Indies and an all-format series against South Africa.
After IPL, India and England will square off in a five-match Test series.
Following the five-Test series in England, India will face a hectic few months, featuring a tour of Australia and back-to-back home series against West Indies and South Africa.
India will begin their post-England assignments with a challenging white-ball series against Australia. The tour includes: 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. With the T20 World Cup approaching in 2026, the five-match T20I series will serve as preparation for both teams.
Before heading to Australia, India will host West Indies for a two-Test series, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle. The matches will be played at Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
West Indies will look to improve their overseas record, while India will aim to solidify their position in the Test rankings.
Shortly after returning from Australia, India will host South Africa for an all-format series. This will be a high-profile tour, featuring two-match Test, three-match ODI and five-match T20I series.
