Suniel Shetty is one of the fittest actors in the Hindi film industry, and on World Health Day, the 63-year-old actor opened up about his fitness routine and shared how he intends to stay fit and healthy so that he can play with his newborn granddaughter. During the interaction, Suniel also revealed that Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s daughter is the ‘biggest excitement’ in his life right now.
Speaking to ETimes, Suniel advised youngsters against taking steroids and encouraged them to work out and stay fit instead. The actor also shared that he trains his abs almost daily to maintain a good posture. He said, “I’m 60 plus and the only reason I train my abs is to make sure that I walk straight, I don’t hunch, and I don’t drag my feet.”
Talking about his granddaughter, Suniel Shetty admitted that his motivation to work out also comes from the little munchkin and how he would like to play with her without getting tired. He said, “Tomorrow I’ll be able to play with my grandchild without having to take a break every two seconds, because the child’s energy is going to be different.”
Suniel revealed that the ‘biggest excitement’ in his life right now is coming home and spending time with his wife Mana Shetty and his granddaughter. “There are certain things that you have to be excited about and continue to look forward to. I look forward to coming back home and spending time with Mana. My biggest excitement in my life, right now, is that child,” he said.
Cricketer KL Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty welcomed their daughter in March this year.
