
Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, who are gearing up for the release of their film Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, visited Amritsar on Monday. Ahead of promotions in the city, the cast and crew of Kesari 2 visited the Golden Temple.

Ananya shared a photo posing with Akshay and Madhavan at the Golden Temple. She captioned the photo, “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh 🙏🏼♥️ #KesariChapter2. Akshay also posted a photo from the temple and wrote, “सर झुकाया, सुकून पाया (I bowed my head and felt relieved).”

For the visit to the Golden Temple, Akshay Kumar sported a grey shirt and matching bottoms, while Ananya Panday wore a pink and white salwar suit. R. Madhavan opted for a classic white kurta-pyjama.
Earlier during the day, the stars were spotted at Mumbai airport as they left for Amristar. In a clip shared on a paparazzi account, Akshay and Madhavan were seen politely seeking permission from security personnel before posing for photographers. In the comment sections of the post, a fan wrote, “Very Good manner❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏,” while another fan commented, “He is ❤️…”
Kesari 2 is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire, which details the 1924 defamation trial involving Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab and the architect of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919. The movie will hit screens on April 18.
