Archana Puran Singh and her family, including husband Parmeet Sethi and sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, have been on a food tasting spree. In recent vlogs, they’ve tried Mumbai’s best vada pav and dosa spots, and in their latest video, they went on an adventure to discover the city’s best chole bhature restaurant. As usual, the video was filled with fun banter and jokes made at each other’s expense; none of them was spared. During their journey across Mumbai, the family found time to come up with a sequel idea for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, tease Aaryamann for having a girlfriend, and joke about getting Parmeet married a second time.
Archana and the family were so impressed by the chole bhature at the first spot, she even joked about poaching the chef to work at her house. At the second spot, the family was struck by the hospitality shown to them by the owner, who said that several popular industry figures, such as Shakti Kapoor and Kiku Sharda, often eat at his establishment. He said that Ajay Devgn’s mother ordered some kulche chole just the other day. Despite being a Punjabi, however, Parmeet suggested that there isn’t much of a difference between kulche chole and bhature chole, and so, at the second spot, the family primarily ate the Amritsari dish.

At the third spot, Parmeet came up with an idea for an alternate ending to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, where his character gets the girl. Aaryamann took the cue and pitched an idea for a sequel. He said, “Shah Rukh and Kajol have a girl, Kuljeet gets married and has a boy, who is also a tough Punjabi lad, and their children fall in love with each other when they grow up. Shah Rukh becomes Amrish Puri.” The family was very impressed with his pitch. They were also impressed by the food, and Ayushmaan praised the mango lassi. “The best mango lassi in the world you’ll get in New York. I don’t know why, but every Indian restaurant there has mango lassi. This one has that same taste,” he said.
When Parmeet Sethi made one of his usual jokes about leaving Archana, she said that she is a ‘first class’ wife. Aayushmann said in a whisper, “Mom, you’re second class.” Archana was shocked; she said, “You’re talking like this about your mother? What’ll you do when he gets a new mom for you?” Parmeet replied without missing a beat, “Party.”
